Joel Nation - son of Joseph and Jeretta (Vickroy) Nation enlisted the 30 September 18131 to 1st January 1814 in Brown's Regiment - Captain Hugh Barton's Company, East Tenn. Volunteers. Joel applied for Bounty Lai-id the 29 January, 1951 in Rush Twp. Champaigne County, Ohio at age 61. Joel was born 1789 in Burke Co. N.C. and died 21 July 1871 in Champaigne Co., Ohio. He married:
